Prime Day, Day Three 🌞
Make-up, fashion, teacher gifts + a small business saving our sleep.
Today’s my favourite. Make-up worth stocking up on, fashion bits for the rest of summer, and teacher gifts before the end-of-term scramble. Plus this week’s podcast and a small business genuinely saving our sleep in this heat.
Deals end tomorrow!
💋 Make-up & More
The everyday bits you keep meaning to repurchase.
Mascara, foundation, eyebrow pencils and the staples worth grabbing while they're cheaper than usual.
👗 Fashion
I honestly didn’t realise how many fashion brands are on Amazon, and many with big discounts this week.
Swimwear, t-shirts, shorts, underwear and the basics worth restocking now.
🍎 Teacher Gifts
End of term is nearly here.
A nice coffee cup, decent chocolates, a posh beauty set, a bottle of something, the kind of thank-you gifts that aren’t another “World’s Best Teacher” mug. Prime Day’s a good moment to sort it before the last-week panic.
💛 Sense Check
Prime Day’s great for the things you actually need or really want.
I have a new rule — do you need it, or do you love it? If it's neither, it's probably a no. If it's a yes, then unapologetically go for it.
🎙️ Podcast Drop - Fatima Whitbread MBE
This week the powerhouse that is Fatima Whitbread MBE joins us on the sofa, and honestly… what a story.
Abandoned as a baby, raised in the care system, and went on to become an Olympic javelin thrower. She talks about Margaret — her javelin teacher who later adopted her and changed everything. Three rounds of IVF to become a mum. What I’m A Celeb is actually like (yes, the nose-cockroach gets a mention). And why she thinks tough love and boundaries are the real parenting superpower.
We also get into the new under-16s social media ban, a very relatable potty training story, and why looking after your own fitness as a mum isn’t selfish.
💛 Small Business Shout Out - The Calm Panel
This week’s small business is The Calm Panel, and the timing is almost too good given the 4am sunrise wake-ups we’re all dealing with.
Made by a mum in Surrey, it’s a custom blackout panel that attaches straight to your window frame. No drilling, no damage. It sits behind your existing curtains or blinds and blocks the light that creeps in around the edges.
Pop it up, close the curtains, and the room actually goes dark. Not dim. Dark.
Genuinely worth a look if anyone in your house is struggling to sleep right now.
They’ve kindly given you all 10% off with code MAMASTILLGOTIT10.

That’s me done for the week. Deals end tomorrow if there’s anything you’ve been eyeing up.
Stay cool, drink the water/wine and grab a book in the shade if you can steal five minutes.
